What is needed to reach the lost for Christ? What must every believer have to share the gospel? On Soul-Winning-Commitment Day, Dr. Kincl encourages the congregation to be persistent in our efforts to share Jesus with the world. Follow along in Luke 15:1-10.
Dr. Kincl begins a series of the “Hard Sayings of Jesus” with this difficult passage from Matthew chapter 5. What was Jesus REALLY saying when he told us to “turn the other cheek,” or “go the extra mile?” Listen closely as Dr. Kincl explains this hard saying of Jesus.
Continuing in the “Hard Sayings of Jesus” series, Dr. Kincl delves into the difficult phrase: “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Follow along in Mark 10:17-31.
While we typically do not podcast our Wednesday night sermons, this series on Financial Fundamentals is a “can’t miss” series for ALL Christian Americans. With the economy at the forefront of most everyone’s mind, how can we as believers better manage our money? Follow the extended sermon outline below and be prepared to take control of your financial situation with Biblical advice from Dr. Kincl.
This hard saying of Jesus is not difficult because Jesus said it was, rather over many years there have been so many different interpretations and variations on the Lord’s Supper that many have become confused about what this statement really means. Dr. Kincl very CLEARLY delineates what Immanuel Baptist Church believes and offers great insight into this scripture.
One of the hardest sayings of Jesus, and one that He said often is found in four different contexts in the gospels. The first shall be last, and the last shall be first. What does Jesus mean by this?
The second sermon in a series on the hard sayings of Jesus, “Lead Us Not Into Temptation,” is a sermon about the meaning of this tough phrase from what many call “the Lord’s Prayer.” Since we know that God does not tempt anyone (James 1:13), what is the Lord really teaching us to ask for when we pray this prayer? Follow along in Matthew 6:9-13.
As Christians, we have full access to the power of God through prayer. Dr. Kincl reminds that God is predisposed to say yes to the prayers of his children, but He is not a "genie in a bottle." We are more inclined to remember the times he has said "no" to us than the times he has answered our prayers with yes. If you are looking for God to move a mountain in your life, this sermon is for you. Follow along in Mat. 21:21 and Mark 11:23.
The final sermon in the series, "The Hard Sayings of Jesus," is all about the "unpardonable sin." What is this unforgivable sin and why can't it be pardoned? Who commits this sin? Follow along in select passages: Matthew 12:31-32; Luke 12:10; Mark 3:28-29.
The beginning message in a series about the church, Dr. Kincl shares about the vitality of LEARNING for a growing church. Based on the main passage of scripture that will be dissected all month, Acts 2:42-47, the Pastor shares from his heart about learning from the Bible and gives insight into its supernatural nature and sufficiency. You'll want to listen closely to the nuance in some of Dr. Kincl's opening remarks as he points out with clarity the NECESSITY for each person to make it their goal to LEARN from whoever is teaching from the scriptures.
The early church was DEVOTED to fellowship. In this second sermon in the series, "Immanuel: A 21st Century New Testament Church," Dr. Kincl talks about how the early church was a SHARING church. Citing ten practical steps for any church to be devoted to fellowship, this sermon is a gold mine about church relations. Follow along in Romans 12:9-21.
Continuing in his series on Immanuel: A 21st Century New Testament Church, Dr. Kincl reveals how Immanuel can be a church devoted to worship. We must acknowledge God in everything and have the right attitude for worship. Follow along in Acts 2:42-47 and Psalm 27.
Dr. Kincl shares the keys to being an effective minister to others. Keying in on 2 Cor. 4:1-18, he reminds us that God has entrusted us as vessels to spread his glory and love with others. Never lose heart as you minister to others' needs.
Based on the passage of scripture from Paul's famous sermon on Mars Hill, Dr. Kincl gives some practical advice on how to witness to the world. Follow along in Acts 17:16-34.
Every Palm Sunday, Dr. Kincl does a dramatization of a Biblical character. This year, he portrayed Pontious Pilate. Enjoy this creative reflection on the greatest trial ever held.
We celebrate the greatest day in history every Easter Sunday! Dr. Kincl shared from his heart that Easter is all about living forever. Jesus is the focus of this message. Follow along in John 11:25-26.

Matt. 25:24-30

Dr. Kincl shares the secret of living a Spirit-filled life. Reasearch has shown that Southern Baptists know least about God-the Holy Spirit in comparison to their knowledge of God-the Father and God-the Son. You'll want to follow along in John 14:15-17.
Many church goers are familiar with Henry Blackaby's book, Experiencing God. Based on that theme, Dr. Kincl reminds us that Christians who have a relationship with God they are truly happy. Follow along in John 10:2-4, 14.
In this first-ever sermon by Dr. Kincl on "the poor," he shares God's heart for the poor. With a practical challenge for the church body at the end of this sermon, you will definitely want to listen and be challenged. Follow along in Matthew 25:31-46.
