Through the International Mission Board we are part of 46,000 Southern Baptist churches focused together in one sacred effort to fulfill the great commission among all peoples.

Cuba

We sent our first mission team to Cuba in 2013.

A movement of the Holy Spirit has been sweeping Cuba for the last 20 years. But the church in Cuba recently has been facing many distractions and trials. Pray for continued and renewed focus on evangelism, discipleship and the planting of reproducing churches. The rapid rate of church growth in Cuba has created a great need for more church leaders. Pray for the multiplication of leaders in the ever-expanding network of new churches. Pray for the effective training of church leaders.

 Lottie Moon Offering

Southern Baptists send missionaries from their churches, through IMB, to go into the world making disciples in the name of Jesus. In that partnership, Southern Baptists provide the funding to send and support these missionaries and their ministries. The more resources they provide, the more missionaries can be sent.

Trips to Other Foreign Countries

Since 2001, Immanuel Baptist Church has sent individuals or teams to the following countries on mission: Honduras, Nicaragua, Romania, Kenya, Philippines, Southeast Asia, Nicaragua, Central Asia, Africa, Malaysia, Guatemala, Panama, Southeast Asia, Germany, India, and Cuba.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a shoebox ministry of gifts to children around the world through Samaritan Purse Organization. Every year IBC partners with Operation Christmas Child by collecting and filling shoe boxes so they can be given to a child at Christmas who would otherwise receive nothing.
